Introduction

Warm, exquisite, cosy, comfortable, elegant and luxurious are all attributes that go hand in hand with the fireplace. It has been a vital household appliance ever since the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and is becoming increasingly popular today. What lies behind this unremitting historic fame?

The answer is simple: eternal human values do not change. The social life of a family takes place primarily in the living room and in order for it to fully achieve its function the room has to be cosy, comfortable and lovable while remaining representative at the same time. The fireplace (or furnace) in itself plays a fundamental role when designing the living room as it is an exquisite piece of furniture! With its endless shapes, silhouettes and building components it offers countless varieties: it may be made of marble, stone or coloured tiles. Today's exclusive tile-stoves are not even remotely reminiscent of the wardrobe-like tile-stoves of old.

Besides its aesthetic function the tile-stove also has a practical advantage: it provides warmth. Apart from reducing the cost of heating, the sound of the roaring fire, the smell of burning wood and the flickering of the flame is an incomparable experience. A furnace or a stove may be used as an auxiliary heating device; on the other hand a suitably constructed tile-fireplace can be used in itself for heating the whole house or apartment. More and more people are installing fireplaces and furnaces in their weekend homes and country houses as well: during colder periods the sight of the fire and the warmth the furnace radiates can significantly increase ones feeling of comfort.

The tile-stove used to be a symbol of extravagance. Today it is available to everyone. The only challenge that may arise is what type to install. Our company's outstanding and qualified professionals can assist you in making this choice. We have associates who are third generation tile-stove constructors meaning that their fathers and grandfathers were in this business as well.

"All our customers are granted a non computerized, genuinely individual proposal, a free evaluation, several occasions for consultation, prompt deadlines and of course a guarantee.' - says one of our managing directors and third generation tile-stove constructors, Lajos Termel. 'Our company operates with a rather small headcount of 10 master-builder and we are not planning to increase our numbers; we consider quality more important than quantity."

I am Lajos Termel, third generation tile-stove constructor. My family has been in the tile-stove making business since the early 1900's. My grandfather shaped and moulded his own tiles which he went on to use to build his unique stoves.

Our motto has remained the same ever since: proficiency and integrity!

I believe choosing the right building material and being extremely precise and careful during implementation is essential as these are the prerequisites for building a well functioning and durable fireplace.

My proposals are made with consideration to inner spaces of existing or soon to be built houses as well as customers' individual requirements.

Building materials include tiles, marble, bricks, stone or the combination of these.
